Abraquest Online - Slow Responses and Timeouts
Sorry to relate we have had some problems with slow login times on our online system. All should now be resolved.
Some customers have had problems with starting up Abraquest, and also when adding books (when it checks our online database).
To be honest we think this problem was fairly random, due to a faulty server at our end. We have made various improvements to our system:
- Last night we removed the faulty server from our system and moved all the online information from Dublin to London.
- Abraquest 188.8.131.52 has better logging in it which will help keep us better informed.
- Finally with the launch of web based Abraquest coming later this year, the online system will be further beefed up with backup servers etc, resulting in a better service for all customers.
We don't expect any further problems, but if any customers experience further problems with timeouts or slow responses after the end of 16/10/2019, please contact us and let us know.
