The Abraquest documentation was previously rather wordy, although intended to be a step by step guide. Here is a link to the latest documentation on getting going with Abraquest.

Getting Started with Abraquest
Abraquest 2.8.0.2 is Finally Here!
The Unattended Issue/Returns Release is finally here. Brief details within this post. More to follow later. We recommend that this release is installed due to the number of year ends that will be run in the next few weeks - this release contains a new button in year end that makes it easier to understand.
Next Release of Abraquest
The next release of Abraquest is nearly upon us. This post offers a sneak preview of the final version of Unattended Issue/Returns, and details of what is coming up.
Unattended Issue/Returns is Nearly Here!
Abraquest has managed for the past 20 years by teacher logging into the system and then leaving the children to scan books to issue or return them. The next release of Abraquest adds optional additional features to allow pupils to issue and return books without teacher being in the room. This release doesn't replace any existing Abraquest functions although it should be faster than the old method and is free to all new and existing Abraquest Software Assurance customers. Please read on for more information.
Software Assurance Customers will be able to personalise Abraquest
As of the next release of Abraquest, Abraquest Software Assurance customers will be able to upload the school logo into Abraquest and replace the Abraquest logo.
Abraquest Spine Label Options
The next release of Abraquest will have four options for printing spine labels, instead of the two currently available. There are also the letter labels for fiction books that we can provide. This post explains the options available.
Abraquest Integration with Google Books
Later this week, Abraquest will link with the Google and Amazon book systems, to help save more time when adding new books into the Abraquest system. Users don't need to do anything they should immediately get better results when adding new books to Abraquest.
The next release of Abraquest: Unattended Issue/Returns
This post is the first one of two posts that explain what is coming in the next release of Abraquest, including the powerful new Issue/Return features that identify the pupil using a bar code. Other identification methods could be used if customers request them. Post two will appear next week.
Announcing Free School Bar code Labels for Software Assurance Customers
Abraquest Software Assurance Customers now get 500 or 1000 free school labels every year.
