Allowing Pupil Barcodes to be used within Abraquest
Abraquest Release 2.9.3.0 allows Pupil Barcodes to be used within Teacher Issue/Returns, amongst other features added in this release.
Customers or prospects who have used other library systems in the past with pupil barcodes as well as book barcodes, will be interested to learn that in addition to the two existing options within Abraquest, Teacher Issues/Returns and Unattended Issues/Returns, Abraquest 2.9.3.0 has added another option:
Using Teacher Issues/Returns with Pupil Barcodes.
To enable this option, you log into system admin and go to Configuration Options on the Base Data menu.
If you are not yet a customer and are looking for a new library system, we can convert all your data over from your old system to Abraquest for a fixed cost of £300 + VAT. We have done this for many new customers, and it is very easy for us because we are experienced with data conversion due to offering very comprehensive solutions to the Insurance industry.
Existing Options within Abraquest:
The following options are already within Abraquest.
Teacher Issues/Returns - The traditional option used when teacher is in the room, where the teacher (or pupil) clicks on the pupil name and then scans.
Unattended Issues/Returns - Used with Pupil Barcodes when teacher is not in the room.
