How is Coronovirus (COVID-19) affecting Abraquest?

How is Coronovirus (COVID-19) affecting Abraquest?

I personally never thought a day like today was ever going to happen in my lifetime. With half the world shut down, and with so many unknowns regarding the dangers of this terrible virus and the timescales thereof.

With Abraquest v3 nearly ready for release, it will hardly be needed as urgently with todays news.

Although Abraquest will be far from most of our customers minds right now, I felt I needed to say something, so here goes:-

1. We have been working from home fully this past week (I work from my home office a lot in any case as we are distributed around the country).

2. We will still be here when these terrible times have passed.

3. I will be writing to our Abraquest Software Assurance customers to give them some credit, as I believe the need for support will reduce with less usage at school libraries. Then again it might increase if the librarians have a little more time on their hands with not as many pupils...

4. Abraquest Software Assurance and Backup are 100% available as before with no change during the closure. We will most likely have a little more time on our hands as I don't think we will be doing on site training as much so that will be an opportunity to do more for when schools are back up and running again.

5. We will have Abraquest v3 ready for when the schools re-open, however some customers have been in touch about the web based version of Abraquest.

I would urge any customer (or prospect) that if we can help in any way to get in touch. I would particularly like to hear your thoughts on the upcoming web based version of Abraquest and if you may find any features useful to you right now.

We are always open to talking to customers or potential customers and would like to help you in any way we can. This is why we are here, doing what we do.

I would like to wish everybody who reads this good health and please take care of yourself.

With kindest regards
